From Backyard Passion to Darwin's Premier Workshop
We began with a simple love for cars and racing. Derreck, our director, built his first engine in the backyard at just 18 years old. That passion led him to open his first business in Coconut Grove over 37 years ago.
That business grew into the Redline Automotive you know today, a name we have been trading under for over 25 years. We’re still a family that loves drag racing, and that same passion and dedication to precision is at the heart of everything we do.

1980
The Redline Story Begins
The Redline story began with our founder, Derreck. At just 18 years old, he built his first engine in his backyard, sparking a lifelong passion for cars and racing that would lay the foundation for everything to come.
All Pro Parts
Derreck turned his passion into a business, opening All Pro Parts in a small shed in Coconut Grove. While the focus was on selling parts, he built engines on the side, quickly earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship.

A New Name & Service
After years of building engines and a reputation for quality work, Derreck’s business grew and officially evolved into Redline Automotive and Towing. The company was among the first in Darwin to offer towing services, expanding its commitment to serving the community.
A New Home in Winnellie
To better serve a growing customer base, Derreck purchased land and built the current workshop in Winnellie. This move provided us with a permanent home to better serve its customers.

Complete In-House Services
A significant milestone was achieved when our company acquired its very own in-house machine shop. This move allowed us to bring a trusted machinist into its team and offer complete, end-to-end engine services.
